VOICES FROM THE HEART

Rong Yixin, the adoptive daughter of Rong Zhu, a successful businesswoman, is jealous of Rong Zhu's biological daughter and deliberately causes Ni'er to go missing. Ni'er is rescued by scavenger Jiang Mingzhong and renamed Jiang Yue. Though left deaf from a childhood injury, Jiang Yue excels in school and is admitted to a prestigious university 16 years later—only to be bullied by classmates, including Rong Zhu's children. Desperate to find her missing daughter but unaware of Jiang Yue's identity, Rong Zhu herself cruelly humiliates the girl and even tries to have her expelled from the school.
