Six Years as His Mermaid Wife
Nerissa, an immortal mermaid princess, owes her life to Eleanor Whitely, who rescued her from a fishing net in 1974. In return, she grants Eleanor’s wish to walk freely on land and enters a six-year contract marriage with Julian — Eleanor’s arrogant grandson and CEO of the struggling Whitely Group. For years, she secretly pulls strings to elevate the company, all while enduring Julian’s cold disdain and his lingering obsession with his college ex-girlfriend Emily. When the manipulative Emily returns to steal Julian and takes credit for Nerissa’s hard-won Ashford Group partnership, Julian’s repeated betrayal finally pushes Nerissa to her limit. On the final day of their pact, she signs the divorce papers and walks away. At the elite Obsidian nightclub, she unveils her sacred Tide Oath Mark — proving she is the revered founding benefactor of the world’s most powerful alliance — leaving Julian stunned and consumed with regret.
